The first line is the name. Whatever you put on line one — with or without a leading # — becomes the note's title in the list, the filename when you export it, and the subject when you mail it. No separate title field to keep in sync.
Email has a size limit. Sending opens a draft in your mail app with the note as plain Markdown. Mail clients cap how much text fits in that handoff, so notes past roughly two thousand characters may arrive cut short — export the .md and attach it instead when a note is long.
On this device only. Notes live in this browser's storage — nothing is uploaded anywhere. That also means clearing site data wipes them, and they won't follow you to another browser or phone. Export all gives you a single Markdown file worth keeping somewhere safe.
